Chaeyeon Ghymn is a South Korean multidisciplinary artist based in London and Seoul. Her practice explores the social and psychological boundaries that shape how we define belonging, identity, and otherness. Through installation, sculpture, publication, and participatory workshops, she examines the invisible structures that influence the ways people encounter, accept, or exclude one another.

Drawing from personal experiences of relocation alongside broader social and political contexts, her work reflects on migration, displacement, and coexistence. Rather than presenting fixed conclusions, she creates spaces that encourage dialogue, shared reflection, and alternative ways of understanding the relationship between the self and the other.
